Onyx hubs are manufactured in the USA and are truly special. Their unique design provides instant and completely silent engagement. When riding with Onyx hubs, you will hear nothing but the sound of your tires and the surroundings — the forest or the mountains. An incredible hub, definitely a guilty pleasure.
This “magic” comes from the sprag clutch bearing used by Onyx in their hubs. The only downside is the weight — the rear hub weighs as much as 385 g. If you’re not chasing ultra-light hubs and want to try something different, Onyx might be exactly what you’re looking for.
Available in many colors, with all freehub options and virtually all axle standards. Road, gravel, and MTB.
