Who is behind the CarbonOne brand?
CarbonOne was established in 2022 within the BlackCat Wheels workshop. These were the first wheels in Poland built using carbon spokes. All CarbonOne wheelsets are assembled in-house under the same quality standards as our fully custom builds.
Where is your workshop located?
The BlackCat workshop is located in Szymanów, near Wrocław, Poland. Personal visits are possible by prior appointment.
Is it possible to build custom wheels with carbon spokes?
Yes. Carbon spokes are available as an option in our custom configurations. Each project is tailored to the rider’s weight, riding style, and intended use.
What makes CarbonOne wheels different?
CarbonOne is designed as a complete system. Hubs, carbon spokes, and rims are selected and tested to function as one unified construction. The rims feature specially drilled, larger-diameter spoke holes dedicated to carbon spokes.
What is the difference between CarbonOne and CarbonOne Triplet?
CarbonOne Triplet represents the second generation of the project. These wheelsets use dedicated Triplet hubs and the latest-generation Vonoa carbon spokes, offering increased stiffness and improved power transfer.
What is the lead time?
CarbonOne wheels are usually in stock and ship within 1–2 business days. Custom builds are made to order with an average lead time of approximately 14 business days. During peak season, lead times may be extended.
Are the wheels built entirely in-house?
Yes. Every wheelset is built 100% in-house, from component selection and lacing to tensioning and final quality control.
Do the wheels require re-tensioning after initial rides?
No. Our wheels are delivered ready to ride and do not require post-break-in adjustments. We provide a lifetime warranty against loss of spoke tension and wheel misalignment.
Is a tubeless kit included?
Yes. Each wheelset comes with double-layer tubeless rim tape installed. Tubeless valves are included upon request.
Are the wheels tubeless compatible?
Yes. Over 90% of the rims we offer are tubeless-compatible. Certain aluminum rim-brake models may be exceptions. Any limitations are clearly communicated during the quotation stage.
How does the custom ordering process work?
The configuration process is described in the “Custom Projects” section in the main menu at CarbonOne.pl. Each build is individually consulted and tailored.
What warranty do you offer?
We provide a 2-year warranty on components and a lifetime warranty against wheel misalignment and loss of spoke tension.
Do you offer wheel servicing?
Yes. We offer full wheel servicing. The first service for wheels purchased from our workshop is free of charge.
Can I send wheels from another brand for service?
Yes. We service wheels from other brands as well. Service costs may be slightly higher compared to our in-house builds.
How often should wheels be serviced?
We recommend servicing your wheels at least once per year. Detailed information can be found in the “Tools & Service” section.
Do you offer crash replacement?
Yes. A crash replacement program is available for CarbonOne wheels (see the “Crash Replacement” section in the website footer). It is also available for selected builds.
What is the shipping cost within Poland?
Shipping within Poland is free of charge.
What is included in the package?
The package includes: the wheelset, tubeless kit, spare spokes and nipples, warranty booklet, and documentation.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship worldwide. Shipping costs are calculated individually depending on the destination country. EU shipping is approximately €40.
Can I order individual components?
Yes. CarbonOne.pl offers a full range of wheel-building components. Customers benefit from our loyalty program, and business clients receive B2B access with additional discounts.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payments via Przelewy24, InPost, and BLIK.
Do you offer financing options?
Yes. We offer mRaty financing through mBank.
Do you issue VAT invoices?
Yes. VAT invoices are issued upon providing a valid VAT number during checkout.
Is local pickup available?
Yes. Personal pickup is possible by prior arrangement.
