This wheelset is built with Industry 9 hubs and 28 Sapim CX-Ray spokes front and rear.

The low weight of 1369g proves that wheels with more spokes than the typical 24/24 setup can still remain lightweight, while being significantly more reliable — especially if you weigh 90+ kg.

This article debunks the myth that modern 24/24 spoke wheelsets are suitable for riders weighing up to 120kg. The included screenshot from a spoke tension calculator clearly shows how much the bottom spokes loosen during each wheel rotation when the spoke count is too low for the rider’s weight.

Completely slack spokes increase the risk of spoke failure — which unfortunately happens almost always… and at the worst possible moment.

The key to a well-designed wheel is the correct spoke count and spoke type.
